InventHelp Inventor Develops Hybrid Digital Device (CNC-210)
PITTSBURGH, July 5, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- An inventor from Mint Hill, N.C., has developed the ABACUS, a hybrid digital device. It combines the functions of a mini-PC for casual personal computing and Internet access along with a smart video streaming function for use with any TV. Wireless mobile hotspot capability allows access to digital content in a variety of home, portable or mobile usage situations. A prototype is available.
"I came up with this idea to be sold in Brazil as a solution to high prices for computers. I quickly realized there is a large market of consumers outside of Brazil who would also appreciate a device like this," said the inventor. The ABACUS provides a personal computer and hot spot in one hybrid device. This device meets the information and entertainment needs of consumers. With the elimination of some standard features found on most digital devices, this will reduce the load on battery power needs. It also features a small and compact design for affordability and portability.
The original design was submitted to the Charlotte office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
